Problem

The BIDMC Department of Medicine was looking for an online registration system that would help coordinate scheduling of interviews for 600+ residency applicants.

Solution

Vercadia developed and hosted a web-based registration solution that allows the department to schedule interviewing sessions.  Applicants can select from a group of sessions and sign up via online form submission.

Department staff can open and close individual sessions at any time or "wait list" a candidate if a session is full.  Reports provide staff with session registration lists with pertinent applicant information.

Technology

The solution was built using the open-source Plone content management framework and leverages custom workflow, security, and staff-configurable signup forms.
